Overview

Hue’s “Phap Lam” enamels were used for decorations in the palaces of Hue and other local architecture. The core is made with copper and covered with colourful enamel layers resulting in a splendid vignette. After nearly two hundred years since it vanished, Hue's “Phap Lam” has been restored. The restoration will contribute to the revival of “Phap Lam” on royal palaces in the former capital.  A trip to the workshop will let you learn about this kind of art and give you a chance to make a piece of “Phap Lam” by yourself under the instruction of the artists. Take the art piece with you after finishing.
