Room
Mont Rochelle offers the very best accommodation in the Franschhoek Valley, featuring 22 exquisite rooms and suites. All rooms have spectacular views over the valley and the majestic mountains that surround Franschhoek. Mont Rochelle is ideal for families to enjoy a holiday in Franschhoek. Some rooms can accommodate children in single beds. We have children's games plus a TV, DVD player and games console for extra entertainment.
SHIRAZ ROOMS
There are four Shiraz Rooms with king-size beds and all feature courtyard or valley views.
MERLOT ROOMS
Our six Merlot Rooms are larger than our Shiraz Rooms and also boast king-size beds with valley views.
CABERNET ROOMS
The six Cabernet Rooms are located in the Vineyard Wing and all include a private terrace overlooking the valley.
PINOTAGE SUITES
There are four spacious Pinotage Suites located in both the Manor House and Garden House, each of which features a separate lounge and fantastic views.
CAP CLASSIQUE SUITES
Guests staying in our two largest rooms, our Cap Classique Suites, will enjoy a separate lounge area, a private terrace and their own plunge pool. Both suites are in the Vineyard Wing.

Enjoy a hike through hills, valleys and vineyards surrounding the hotel, as well as in local reserves. The Mont Rochelle Reserve on the opposite side of the valley offers superb views of the wine valley and on a clear day you can even see Table Mountain and the ocean! The walks vary in length from 3 to 8 hours and are of moderate intensity. Required permits and maps are available from the Tourism Office in the centre of town. You are welcome to take walks through our farm and our only request is that you stay on the walkways, thus preserving the fragile vines that produce our splendid wines.
