Roma Street Parkland

Stretching across 16 hectares, Roma St Parkland is the world’s largest urban subtropical garden. Open all day, every day, Roma Street Parkland is popular among locals and tourists alike. Home to picnic and play areas, public art, the Spectacle and Sound Gardens and The Lake Precinct, it’s paradise in the heart of The City.

Brisbane’s inner city oasis, the Roma Street Parklands are located only a stones throw from the CBD of Brisbane and easily accessible via public transport with the Roma Street Train and Bus Station adjacent to the Parkland. The parkland itself  boasts a wide variety of plants, trees and flowers, has tree top walkways, man made water falls, an amphitheatre, lake and other attractions.

The Roma Street Parklands also play host to numerous events throughout the year including symphonies at the amphitheatre and festivals such as Brisbane’s annual Multicultural Festival held on Celebration Lawn.
