Dubai Creek Golf Club

Dubai Creek Golf Club

Want to play some gold during your holiday to Dubai, or are you going on a Dubai Golf Holiday.

The Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club is the original grass course and, designed by Karl Litten, the club opened in 1988. But don't let the fact that it is old put you off playing golf at this club during your holiday in Dubai. The Dubai Creek Golf Club is home to the Dubai Desert Classic and remains the golf venue of choice for both locals and tourists on Dubai holidays alike.

The club is situated on the shores of the Dubai creek, adjacent to Park Hyatt Dubai, the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club. Those staying at the Park Hyatt hotel during their holiday in Dubai will not only enjoy one of the most outstanding hotels in Dubai but also the opportunity to walk from their room to the green. In fact, if your holiday to Dubai is intended to be a Dubai Golf holiday, then the Park Hyatt is definitely a hotel worth staying at. This venue is truly golfers’ paradise. The club's 18-hole, par 71 course rolls 6,857 undulating yards along well-groomed fairways lined with date and coconut palms, attractive water hazards and shrubbery that lends a distinctly tropical air.

Even though the clubhouse might be older than some of its competitors, it has certainly retained its charm with members and guests enjoying excellent bar and restaurant services, fully stocked pro’s shop, pool and gym. You only have to read the reviews of the club from those who have played here during their Dubai holidays to appreciate that this club really is a great choice for your golf games during your holiday in Dubai.

The Majilis course made an appearance in the top 100 courses in the world this year and offersa variety of difficulty levels. Those who have played on this course during previous holidays in Dubai have said that holes 9 and 18 are spectacular. Number 9 sweeps around a dog-leg guarded by bunkers on the nearside with a large lake on the far side. The second shot is played partly over the lake towards the on-looking clubhouse. The finishing hole is a reachable right to left par-5 with water on the right from the tee, and in front of the green for the second shot.
